Music Ministry​

Mission: “Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalms 100:2

Our Music ministry is composed of a Praise Worship team and musicians that are committed to escorting our congregation into the presence of God during our worship services. We encourage all Born-again believers to use their talents for the glory of God in our music ministry.

Hospitality Ministry

Mission: “Be kindly affection one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.” Romans 12: 10 - 13

Our Hospitality Ministry is dedicated to welcoming everyone with love and grace as it ushers them into a warm and Spirit filled atmosphere.

​​Bible Study

Adult Sunday School 

Mission: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. 2 Timothy 2:15

The focus of these ministries is to teach the Word of God with clarity and applicable to daily living. We are to learn what pleases God and strive to live a life that honors Him. The courses of study that are taught are done so with enthusiasm and clarity.

 

Media Ministry

Mission: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14

This ministry is to reach souls for the Kingdom of God, spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to provide the Word of God and encouragement to the shut-in also.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

Mission: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;.”

1 Timothy 2:1

This ministry is to provide a means in which to come together to pray and touch in agreement for our families, communities, nation and the world at large through a weekly Conference prayer line on Monday and Friday.

​Youth Ministry

Mission: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Prov. 6:22

This ministry is dedicated to empowering our youth with tools that will enable them to face their futures with certainty and give them a fighting chance in today’s world. This is accomplished through teaching  them the Word of God, which is the only thing of substance that is undying and will last throughout eternity.  Also, they learn songs, do Arts & Crafts and receive snacks.

​​Foundation Ministry (New Member Orientation)

Mission: “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" 1 Peter 3:15 

This ministry has been established to teach the core beliefs of Citadel of Hope Mission to new member applicants. Its focus is to lay a solid foundation of biblical truths for the new believer and a new member to build upon.

​​Senior Citizen Services 

Mission: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27

​

Services provided for residents at local healthcare facilities [Presently Grove Street Nursing Home of East Orange NJ] and the shut-in. The services are to encourage and uplift hearts by sharing the love of God through God's Word, music and words of encouragement.
